A crash between a semi-tractor trailer and a car occurred on North M-37 and West 16 Road around 11 a.m. in Wexford County. Deputies say the car was attempting a left turn onto M-37 and pulled into the path of a semi-tractor trailer. The collision caused the tractor trailer, loaded with logs, to jack knife.

Future of community mental health services for five counties uncertain as Grand Traverse County considers alternatives
There could be a reshuffling of some mental health services in several northern Michigan counties. This month, Grand Traverse County commissioners announced they are considering breaking away from the Northern Lakes Community Mental Health Authority. If that happens, it would dissolve the regional agency which also serves Leelanau, Mason, Missaukee and Wexford counties.
