DENVER — A fitness instructor in Denver has been fired after a fight broke out during his class, according to attendees of his workout class. It was all caught on tape. Now, some members of the instructor's class said it's not fair that he was let go by the gym.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — The Denver Broncos now sport the wealthiest owner in the NFL and the league’s most diverse ownership group. Four of the six members of the Walton-Penner ownership group, which was welcomed into the NFL this week, are either women or minorities. Walmart heir Rob Walton, the oldest child of Walmart co-founder Sam Walton, bought the Broncos along with his daughter, Carrie Walton Penner, and her husband, for $4.65 billion, a global record for a professional sports franchise. Walton said Wednesday that his son-in-law, Greg Penner, will serve as CEO of the team. Penner said he’ll soon hire a team president. Those roles had been held by Joe Ellis, who is staying on this year as an advisor.

NFL Rookie Has Reportedly Been 'Redshirted' This Year

For many undrafted rookies, injuries in training camp can spell and abrupt end to their NFL careers. But for one rookie in Denver, it has turned into his redshirt season. According to Mike Klis of 9News, the Broncos have placed rookie linebacker Christopher Allen on season-ending injured reserve. Allen is still recovering from a Lisfranc injury to his foot he suffered at Alabama 11 months ago.

I-25 clear after deadly crash with semi hauling excavator

A stretch of Interstate 25 near Mead was cleared for normal traffic on Tuesday morning after a 32-year-old woman was killed in a crash involving an excavator on Monday evening. A child was also seriously hurt in the crash as well and taken to the hospital to treat unknown injuries. According to Colorado State Patrol, a semi-truck was carrying the excavator and another vehicle and ended up crashing into the overpass on I-25 northbound at the Mead exit. As a new statewide program aims to clean up Colorado's air by helping schools transition to electric buses. There is both state and federal money to help pay for the buses and charging stations.Along with the environmental benefits, electric buses save schools money on fuel and maintenance costs.They can put that into the classroom by paying teachers better, reducing class size and adding enrichment programs.Aurora Public Schools already has seven electric school buses. The superintendent points out the electric buses also reduce noise pollution on the campuses and in the community.
