West Feliciana Parish Tourist Commission hires new executive director

Devan Corbello has been named the new executive director of the West Feliciana Parish Tourist Commission, its board of commissioners announced. A native of Lake Charles, Corbello was previously employed by the Arts & Humanities Council of Southwest Louisiana as its executive director. Corbello has years of experience in community organizing, nonprofit development and leadership experience, a news release said.

West Feliciana neighborhood shootout leads to arrest of 2 Mississippi men

WEST FELICIANA, La. (BRPROUD) — Two Woodville, Mississippi men accused of a Monday shootout in a West Feliciana neighborhood were arrested on attempted murder charges. West Feliciana Parish Sheriff Brian L. Spillman said the two men were visiting the neighborhood before an argument broke out and led to shots fired. The men allegedly chased each other through the neighborhood.
