ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – A St. Louis County police officer witnessed a shooting in St. Louis City Friday morning. According to county police, the St. Louis County Special Response Unit officer saw a shooting at Marcus and Natural Bridge around 9:20 a.m. and requested St. Louis City officers. A brief pursuit was initiated, and when it concluded two suspects were taken into custody.

According to charges, a first victim told police that in February 2021, she went to the home of 37-year-old James Jenkins, an employee at Hancock High School. She said the two had sexual intercourse and another student was also at the home.

St. Louis man found guilty in first of two murder cases against him

ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis man was found guilty Thursday of murdering a woman and paralyzing her boyfriend in a shooting in the city's Baden neighborhood in 2017. Jurors found Casey Lowery, 41, guilty of second-degree murder, first-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action in the May 25, 2017 shooting in the 1100 block of Canaan Avenue.

Sex workers have been victims in several recent St. Louis City crimes, police say

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) - Police are investigating four recent crimes in St. Louis in which they say sex workers have been the victims. Authorities tell News 4 that two sex workers were shot in North City on Thursday. A woman was found fatally shot in the 2800 block of West Florissant around 11:45 p.m. A 28-year-old woman was shot in the 4500 block of Adelaide around 10:20 p.m. She was taken to a hospital in stable condition. Police do not have any information on possible suspects.

State police ID victim in I-270 crossover crash in Madison County

A 30-year-old man from Overland, Missouri, died in a crossover crash on Interstate 270 in Madison County on Wednesday, the Illinois State Police announced Thursday. Herbert A.
