Terroristic threats made against Northern Potter School in Potter County

Pennsylvania State Police have now released information about a threat made September 28th against Northern Potter School in Ulysses. Trooper C. Sebastian said police were called to the school for reports of a student who made a threat against the school. In a Public Information Release, State Police allege a 16-year-old boy from Genesee, PA was also found to be in possession of a weapon on school grounds. The student was charged with eight counts, mostly misdemeanors:

Adventurous women can join a group of women tackling all kinds of outdoor activities this fall in the "Women in the Mountains" program hosted by DCNR. Taking place in Mt. Pisgah State Park, the Oct. 15 event will feature outdoor cooking and cider making, forest ecosystems, swag making, winter sowing, foraging wild mushrooms, and fiber spinning. Athens Edges Lady Hornets, 3-2.

A pair of second half goal by the Athens Lady Wildcats pushed them to a 3-2 win past the Wellsboro Varsity Girls Soccer team on Wednesday, October 5. Athens took an early lead, not even 4 minutes into the match, but the Lady Hornets rebounded just over a minute later.
