Naturluxe & Stars is bringing the glamour to the Watkins Glen Grand Prix Vintage Car Festival. The luxury glamping resort is hosting the first annual “Naturluxe & Cars”. Grand Jury Launches Criminal Investigation into NY Fire Academy Training Death

A Schuyler County grand jury is investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a Watertown firefighter recruit while in training at New York’s State Fire Academy. Firefighter Peyton Morse, 21, died after a March 3, 2021 incident at the New York State Fire Academy in Montour Falls. Morse died while participating in mask confidence training.

Elmira Man Indicted For Fatal Newfield Collision

District Attorney Matthew Van Houten announced today that Jonathan A. Roberts, 32, of Elmira, has been charged in a four-count indictment related to the motor vehicle collision which took place on Route 13 in the Town of Newfield in the early morning hours of March 19, 2022. Leon Arguello, a devoted father and talented local musician, died in the collision. Leon Arguello was 49 years old.

The Tompkins County Health Department says there have now been 23,445 total positive cases in Tompkins County, 37 more than on Thursday, and a total of 1,932,081 tests conducted. The Health Department is also now reporting positive self-test results that have been submitted through their online portal.
