1 dead, 1 injured after crash in Loudoun County

One woman died and another woman is seriously injured following a car crash in Loudoun County, Virginia, on Friday afternoon. Virginia State Police said that at approximately 2:30 p.m., a Toyota Camry was traveling on Pacific Boulevard when it came upon stopped traffic at the intersection with Old Ox Road in Sterling, Virginia. The Camry did not press the brakes in time and sideswiped two vehicles before crashing into and going underneath a box truck.

Nurse Practitioner From Washington, D.C Goes to Federal Prison for Illegally Distributing Oxycodone and Money Laundering

Ivan Lamont Robinson, 50, of Washington, D.C. a licensed nurse practitioner, was sentenced today to 135 months in federal prison and ordered to forfeit $108,000. Robinson was previously found guilty by a federal jury of 42 federal charges that he distributed oxycodone outside the legitimate scope of professional practice and without a legitimate medical purpose, and two counts of money laundering.

Three men and a juvenile were arrested after Anne Arundel County Police conducted a traffic in Glen Burnie and allegedly found items which lead to criminal charges. On June 14, 2021 at approximately 8:10 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a white Cadillac Escalade in the area of Crain Highway and Phirne Road in Glen Burnie. Upon speaking with the driver and three passengers, officers received information which led to a search of the vehicle resulting in the seizure of a loaded 9mm P80 handgun, 19 10mg Oxycodone pills, 43 30mg Oxycodone pills, 6.12 grams of suspected marijuana and CDS paraphernalia.

A man from Glen Burnie is facing serious charges after drugs, cash and multiple loaded weapons were allegedly found by police following a narcotics investigation. On June 10, 2021, Anne Arundel County officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of 100 Archwood Avenue in Glen Burnie on a 2019 Honda Accord. Located on the driver was 42 bags of suspected crack cocaine (18.93 grams). The driver was advised that due to an ongoing investigation, a search warrant would be executed on his residence.
