Heartland Farms employee dies in barn fire

Officials have identified a man killed in a fire in Bennington earlier this month. Nathan Dietrich, 32, of Bennington and an employee of Heartland Farms, died of smoke inhalation related to the barn fire in Bennington Feb. 3, according to a release issued by the Nebraska State Fire Marshal. Several horses also died in the fire.
