I got hit by an uninsured driver a couple of months ago and I am still paying the price. Thankfully, my car insurance rates did not go up and my deductible would have only been $25 because of Washington state's Uninsured Motorist laws! I say "would have only been $25" because after I took my car to a local auto body shop for a repair quote, my insurance company said my car was a total loss.

OLYMPIA – Emerging technologies that reduce carbon, reduce the amount of time to get goods to consumers and move agricultural goods to market more efficiently will be explored at the Washington State Transportation Commission’s October meeting. Commissioners also will discuss their next round of recommendations to the state Legislature about steps needed to prepare for autonomous vehicles operating on public roadways.
It’s always hard to see a classic car like this 1935 Auburn Boattail get damaged while being enjoyed. In this case, the owner was out cruising in Bellingham, Washington on October 6 when the engine compartment suddenly caught fire. That’s not what you want to see as you’re rolling down the road. The guy did the right thing and stopped the car immediately.

Starting Saturday, Oct. 16, the following sailing schedules will be in operation:. Seattle/Bainbridge, Edmonds/Kingston and Mukilteo/Clinton: One-boat service instead of two. Fauntleroy/Vashon/Southworth: Two-boat schedule instead of three.
Are your tires ok for another winter in the PNW? Sadly, I have no idea. I'm embarrassed to admit that I don't know anything about car tires. I don't know how much air is supposed to be in one. I know that I have a tire gauge in my glove compartment. I think the last time I saw it was when I moved items from my old vehicle into the new one, when I purchased it.
The Washington State Ferries fleet returned to near-normal levels of service Monday, following a severe crew shortage Friday that canceled dozens of trips.
