When it comes to taking some nice photos around Lehi (any time of year), the first thought that comes to mind is heading up a canyon to get those classic shots in the mountain. If you’ve ever driven up American Fork Canyon, especially taking the Alpine Loop, you’ll know what I mean — there are photographers everywhere. Tibble Fork Reservoir is quite frequently overly crowded, although it’s definitely still possible to get some good shots anywhere around there. And, if you’re around the Thanksgiving Point area of Lehi, it takes less than 20 minutes to reach the mouth of the canyon (barring terrible traffic, of course).
When it comes to good BBQ, Utah is probably not even in the top 20 U.S. states that come to mind. And that’s because there’s not really a big BBQ presence in the Beehive State, mainly for lack of many options. However, the few restaurants that have staked their claim have become favorites among local BBQ enthusiasts, including us. Our favorite is R&R Barbecue.
