ROANN, Ind.– The Wabash County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in locating a missing woman. A Silver Alert was issued Thursday for the disappearance of Sue Bennett, 89, of Roann, Indiana. She was last seen around 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 14. She is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.

Missing 89-year-old Roann woman found safe

WABASH COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – A missing Roann woman has been found safe, according to police. On Thursday, a Statewide Silver Alert was issued to help the Wabash County Sheriff’s Department find Sue Bennett, 89, of Roann after she went missing on Tuesday. Authorities said she was in need of medication and may be in medical danger.

COVID Outbreak At Northern Indiana Jail

23 Inmates and two jailers tested positive for COVID-19 in the Pulaski County Jail. The jail is in Winamac 30 miles north of Logansport. Sheriff Jeffrey Richwine said the first positive cases were reported September 10th. He says more testing will be done at the jail Friday, and inmates who tested positive are being held in separate cell blocks.
