3 in custody following deadly shooting in Visalia

VISALIA, Calif. (FOX26) — The Visalia Police Department responded to a call just before midnight on Wednesday regarding a shooting that took place on Mooney and Caldwell. When officers arrived, they found two men with gunshot wounds. They were given medical treatment until EMS arrived, who then took them to Kaweah Health. One of the men died when he arrived at the hospital and the other was listed in stable condition.

“On July 16, 2021 at approximately 5:00 PM, the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office received a report a vehicle versus a pedestrian collision, in the area of Lee Fong Park. FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Wednesday night after police say he had an active warrant for kidnapping. According to the Sheriff’s Office, 30-year-old Jack Sconiers of Fresno was pulled over on Highway 99 and Floral Avenue in Selma. Detectives say they conducted a search and found a handgun in his car, along with 31 rounds.
