PlayStation VR2 News Teased by PlayStation Insider

Sony has been relatively quiet about its PlayStation VR2 as of late, but it looks like there's a chance that'll change in the next few weeks. Jeff Grubb on the latest installment of GrubbSnax suggested as much by offering a potential release window for the new virtual reality hardware as well as a suggestion as to when Sony might show off more of the headset and its peripherals. Unsurprisingly, the speculation about the latter is connected to the summer gaming events set to get underway in June.

Kino Lorber Nabs U.S. Rights to Hernan Findling’s ‘Virtual Reality’ (EXCLUSIVE)

New York-based Kino Lorber has acquired all North American rights to horror pic “Virtual Reality,” from Argentine director-producer Hernán Findling (“Impossible Crimes”). Other deals on the pic closed by FilmSharks include Media 4 Fun (Poland), AV Jet (Taiwan) and Laon-I (South Korea). Japan, Latin America, the U.K. and France are under discussion. Starring Vanesa González, César Bordón, Christian Sancho and Federico Bal, “Virtual Reality” has screened at Sitges and Bifan. Apple is reportedly jamming 14 cameras into its mixed reality headset

Apple's long-rumored mixed reality headset will be adorned with 14 separate cameras, according to a new report from The Information. This stands in stark contrast to current standalone headsets like Meta’s Quest 2 or HTC’s Vive Focus 3, which both use four cameras for video passthrough and inside-out tracking, Apple’s late entry will apparently have almost four times as many lenses.
