Virginia man wins a second $100,000 lottery jackpot with same numbers

July 26 (UPI) -- A Virginia man who collected a $100,000 jackpot from a Virginia Lottery drawing won the same amount again 16 months later using the same set of numbers. Bobby Johnson, of Chesapeake, told Virginia Lottery officials he was stunned to discover he had matched all five numbers in the June 22 Cash 5 with EZ Match drawing, just 16 months after he won the same amount from the same game.

The Southern Virginia Botanical Garden interns help to install a kiosk recently. Jon Chandler built the kiosk and David Compton helped to transport it to the gardens. The kiosk is in place ahead of two events in August at the garden. Children’s Fun At The Gardens will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Aug. 4 at Southern Virginia Botanical Gardens. Come prepared to meet bugs, go on a nature hike and visit the Native American Garden. At 9 a.m. Aug. 7 there will be a showcase of Southern Virginia Botanical Garden’s Healthy Harvest Community Garden. Also, a fall open house will be planned to show their the music garden. The garden was awarded a Green Grant from Keep Virginia Beautiful for the Music Garden. The group is looking for old metal to repurpose into works of art/musical instruments.
