Dixon man gets probation for police standoff three weeks ago

A Pulaski County man is sentenced for a police standoff earlier this month. Troy Smalenberg of Dixon was sentenced to five years supervised probation on Tuesday for one count of third-degree domestic assault. Smalenberg had originally been charged with first-degree assault, as well as resisting arrest and unlawful use of a weapon.

Miller County man sentenced in separate property damage cases

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)An Eldon man was sentenced in two separate first-degree property damage cases Wednesday. Both incidents happened Feb. 23. He was sentenced to four years in prison for each case. Fatal crash in Osage County leaves one dead

OSAGE COUNTY - A single-vehicle crash Sunday night in Osage County has left one man dead. According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Donald G. Mahaney was traveling westbound on Osage County Road 722 on a 2020 KTM Motorcycle when he went off the left side of the roadway. As he returned to the roadway, he slid and then went off the right side of the road and was ejected from his motorcycle, the report said.

Criminal Hearing In Phelps County Murder Case Scheduled Tomorrow

A criminal motion hearing and arraignment are scheduled for tomorrow in Phelps County for 38-year-old Michael Billingsley of Beulah, Missouri. Billingsley is charged with second-degree murder, domestic assault, and abandonment of a corpse in the death of Vanessa Bradfield of Beulah in Southern Phelps County on August 21st. Judge Kenneth Clayton denied a bond modification for Billingsley. It was determined during the hearing that Billingsley is a flight risk.

Rolla Man Dies In Motorcycle Accident

A 55-year-old Rolla man was killed in a motorcycle accident at 7:10 Sunday night on County Road 722 just west of Route Y in Osage County. Donald G. Mahaney traveled off the left side of the road, returned to the road, slid, and went off the right side of the roadway, ejecting him from the motorcycle. Mahaney was not wearing a helmet.

Motorcycle crash kills mid-Missouri man

A Rolla man has been killed in a Sunday evening motorcycle crash in Osage County, east of Jefferson City. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 55-year-old Donald Mahaney was traveling on county road 722 when he went off the left side of the road, returned to the road, slid and went off the right side of the highway. The Patrol’s crash report says Mahaney was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
