VANCOUVER – The Vancouver Police Department is investigating a shooting and assault that took place in a parking lot. On Thursday (May 19) at about 4:39 p.m., Vancouver Police responded to reports of a shooting and a large physical fight in the parking lot outside an apartment complex at 4619 NE 112th Ave.

Scott Walker won’t return as Canucks assistant coach

Hundreds of spectators gathered along the banks of the Columbia River Friday to watch world class hydroplanes take test runs in the Vancouver Washington H1 Exhibition. The exhibition included four 28-foot-long race boats capable of reaching speeds of nearly 200 miles per hour. The vessels took turns traveling a two-mile oval shaped course from about noon to 3 p.m. The course traveled from just east of the I-5 bridge to the east end of Hayden Island.

Mom says smoking weed while watching her kids is no different than drinking wine

A mom told how she smokes marijuana while her kids play – but says it is no different from other mothers drinking wine or even taking anxiety medication.
