Huskies Too Much to Handle for Hi-Liners

WAHPETON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Things started off great for the Hi-Liners on the road. Broden Muske with a big 3rd down sack of Wahpeton Quarterback Blake Schafer on 3rd and 4 at the Valley City 19 yard line to take the Huskies out of field goal range. On the ensuing offensive drive for the Hi-Liners, Quarterback Gavin Gerhardt capped off the drive with a 1-yard TD run to give Valley City the 6-0 lead. The 2pt conversion was unsuccessful.

There was a fundraiser for the Museum’s “Peggy Lee Project” and the Valley City High School Class of 1960 celebrated a reunion event simultaneously. There were many people visiting, eating & enjoying the music of the Myron Sommerfeld Orchestra. Part of the project plan is to have a large Peggy Lee mural on the Rudolf Square where she first worked for KOVC. Kudos to all who are working on the project.

VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NDHSAA) – The North Dakota High School Activities Association is announcing the retirement of NDHSAA Administrative Assistant Patty Bass. Bass began working at the NDHSAA office as an Administrative Assistant on September 26, 1983 and has served in that role for 38 years.
