VPD announces Citizen’s Police Academy

VALDOSTA – The Valdosta Police Department’s Citizen’s Police Academy will give citizens a behind-the-scenes look at law enforcement. The Valdosta Police Department would like to announce the 36th Session of the Citizen’s Police Academy (CPA) which will be held each Thursday night, September 15th through November 3rd, from 6:00-8:00 pm. The goal of this eight-week program is to give citizens a chance to interact with members of the police department and obtain a better understanding of the internal workings of a law enforcement agency. The CPA provides great community engagement between Valdosta Police Officers and the citizens they serve.
