A breaching humpback whale between Cape Cod and Cape Ann is featured on the U.S. Postal Service’s newest forever stamps. “From the coral reefs of American Samoa to the humpback whales of Stellwagen Bank, these stamps symbolize the amazing seascapes and marine life that we share this world with and our nation’s dedication to protect them,” a statement from the National Marine Sanctuaries read.

USPS job fair slated in Ottsville

The United States Postal Service is hiring motivated and dynamic individuals to help deliver for America. The Postal Service in the Delaware and Lehigh Valleys is hosting multiple job fairs to fill immediate openings for the positions of City Carrier Assistants (CCA’s). The pay is $18.92 per hour, paid biweekly. The Ottsville/Upper Black Eddy Post office, located at 7790 Easton Road, Ottsville, will host a fair 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 9.

USPS releases marine life stamp collection, including Mass. location

BOSTON (WHDH) - The U.S. Postal Service partnered with the National Marine Sanctuary System to release a collection of stamps featuring marine life and ecosystems. The 16-stamp collection, released earlier this month, includes photographs of California sea lions, a sand tiger shark and the Farallon Islands to name a few. One of the stamps includes photography shot in Massachusetts. Art director Greg Breeding used existing photographs to design the stamps, which feature a map of the National Marine Sanctuary System on the back.
