Union to host Oregon Junior Amateur golf tournament

UNION — Union will host the Bob Norquist Oregon Junior Amateur tournament from June 28 to July 2 at Buffalo Peak Golf Course. More than 100 of the best youth golfers in Oregon will be at the tournament, which has not taken place in Eastern Oregon in 15 years, according to Oregon Junior Golf Director Shanda Imlay.

On June 16, workers started patching pavement on Wallowa Lake Highway (OR-82) between mileposts 45 and 49.5. DEAR DR. ROACH: After my doctor moved, my new doctor would not order me a colonoscopy because I had turned 90. Are all doctors like that? My family is loaded with cancer. My mom had two colon cancer surgeries and died at age 99. Why can’t I make my own decision about it? I would rather not wake up from a test than to have cancer.
