Tuolumne, Calaveras have 3 new COVID cases combined on Friday

Two new cases of COVID-19 were counted Friday in Tuolumne County, while one new case was counted in Calaveras County. Both individuals who tested positive for coronavirus in Tuolumne County were not vaccinated, county Public Health staff said Friday. All 31 new cases in the county since May 24 have been unvaccinated individuals, according to county Public Health.

Four new cases of COVID-19 were counted Tuesday in Tuolumne County, while one new case was counted in Calaveras County. All four individuals who tested positive for coronavirus in Tuolumne County had not been vaccinated, the county Public Health Department said. All 29 new cases in the county since May 24 have reportedly involved unvaccinated people.

Tuolumne, CA — A Jamestown man led officials on an 11-mile chase on Monday evening through Tuolumne County. At around 8pm the CHP issued on “Be On The Lookout” alert for 31-year-old Sean Foster who had an active warrant for his arrest.
