Port of Catoosa manufacturer plans up to 160 new jobs, $6 million investment to plant

CATOOSA — A heat exchanger company at the Tulsa Port of Catoosa is planning to invest $6 million to refurbish its plant and expects to add as many as 160 jobs by 2024. CLAREMORE, Okla. — A pumpkin grown in Oklahoma is breaking state records. It weight over 1,000 pounds and has become the largest pumpkin ever grown in the state’s history. Amber Harrison, also known as “The Pumpkin Mom” on Facebook grew the pumpkin near Elk City. She says her family pitched in, and it took a while to grow. She says at last check, it weighed 1,097 pounds.
