Stitt’s office: Oklahoma does not plan to offer $100 incentive to get COVID-19 vaccine

OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt’s office told KOCO 5 that the state does not plan to offer incentives to people who get the COVID-19 vaccine. This is in response to President Joe Biden’s announcement on Thursday. The president urged state and local governments to use funds provided by the coronavirus relief package to incentivize vaccinations by offering $100 to those who get the shots. And he’s also announced that small- and medium-sized businesses will receive reimbursements if they offer employees time off to get family members vaccinated.

But the party also posted a photo of the yellow Star of David that millions of Jews were required to wear during the Holocaust, marking them for persecution and murder.

Making the case for Oklahoma State as a fit for another Power 5 conference

Consistency is the main takeaway when reviewing Oklahoma State's athletic resume. The football program has been nothing but that since Mike Gundy took over as head coach in 2005. The Cowboys have 15 straight winning seasons with a bowl appearance at the end of each year. Only Oklahoma and Wisconsin have longer active streaks of winning seasons in the FBS.
