THOMAS COUNTY, Kan (WesternKansasNews.Com) – The KHP says a Hyundai Elantra being driven by a 12-year-old child went off the road and went airborne Sunday. According to Kansas Highway Patrol, at around 8:05 PM, the Elantra was heading north on Country Club Drive when it lost control, hit a dirt embankment, and went into the air. While in the air, the car turned counterclockwise and landed on its passenger side in the middle of Country Club Drive, facing Northeast.

THOMAS Co, Kan (WesternKansasNews.Com) – The Kansas Highway Patrol says one teenager was injured in an accident that occurred Monday afternoon in Thomas County. According to the KHP, a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by, Caleb Mullican, 19, Smithville Tennesse, was westbound on I70 at milepost 39 when, for an unknown reason, The Dodge Ram went off the roadway to the North. The truck traveled in the North ditch for a short distance and went back onto the roadway. The Dodge overcorrected and went back into the north ditch and rolled.

Ulysses Man Involved in Thomas County Accident

On Monday February 21st, at approximately 10:12am, a 2009 Peterbilt semi, being driven by David Heredia, 39 of Ulysses, was Northbound on K-25 near County Road N. in Thomas County. A 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass being driven by Lance Colvin, 61, of Burlington Colorado was leaving a residence traveling westbound just north of County Road N. Colvin failed to yield and was struck by the semi. The semi came to a rest in the Northbound lane of K-25, while the Cutlass came to rest east of the ditch on the east side of K-25 facing northeast.
