Wanted murder suspect arrested after days on the run

OKLEE, MINN. (Valley News Live) - A murder suspect wanted in connection to the gruesome death of his wife is now under arrest after days on the run. The Red Lake Sheriff’s Department says 44-year-old Eric Reinbold was arrested in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Aug. 4 just north of Oklee, MN.

Area Gatherings and Parks Cancelled and Closed due to Area Unrest

Protests activities along with the search for a murder suspect have demanded a tremendous amount of law enforcement’s attention and work hours. According to a Friday news release, Night to Unite has been canceled to allow Peace Officers and other services to focus on public safety. Night to Unite helps to celebrate and strengthen neighborhood and community partnerships particularly between residents and their local law enforcement. The Thief River Falls city council meeting scheduled for 4:30 at the Peder Engelstad Pioneer Village has now been moved back to city hall at 5:30.
