Pete Davidson set to leave ‘Saturday Night Live,’ report says

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Pete Davidson is saying farewell to Studio 8H. The Staten Islander, who first joined “Saturday Night Live” in 2014 as a featured player at the age of 20, is calling it a wrap at the long-running NBC late-night variety sketch show that shot him to fame, according to Variety, which first broke the news. He was one of the youngest cast members to join “SNL” in its history.

Wanted: 5 boilermaker apprentices

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- A local boilermaker union is hiring apprentices to learn the trade of manufacturing, installing and maintaining boilers. The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) for Boilermakers Northeastern Area, Local Union #5, Zone #5 will conduct a recruitment from June 20, 2022 through May 15, 2023 for five boilermaker construction apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced today.
