Aaron Rodgers Got His First Tattoo, Immediately Made It Weird

Aaron Rodgers took to his Instagram page on Wednesday to show off his new tattoo. The 38-year-old, four-time NFL MVP got inked for the first time and seemed thrilled with the results. And, he's right, it's a really cool tattoo. But in classic Aaron Rodgers fashion, he had to make it a little weird.

If Baker Mayfield Trade Fails, Matt Rhule Is Done With the Panthers

Baker Mayfield is finally free of the Cleveland Browns after four seasons where it never felt the franchise fully bought into him. He's been traded to the Carolina Panthers where he'll join a crowded quarterback room that includes Sam Darnold, Matt Corral and P.J. Walker. While no one knows how this deal will turn out, one thing is for sure: if it fails, head coach Matt Rhule is likely done in Carolina.

Bears Putting a Dome on Soldier Field Would Be an Extremely Lame Move

The Bears appear to be in the midst of a drawn-out negotiation with the city of Chicago over Soldier Field. It is a classic stadium, but it's also both the smallest and oldest football stadium in the NFL and the last serious renovations were made in 2002. The Bears petitioning the city for funding to renovate is perhaps overdue at this point.

Best Celebrity Softball Game Performances in MLB All-Star Weekend History

The Celebrity Softball Game has been a fixture of MLB All-Star Weekend for over two decades. The event has changed a lot over the years (the first-ever edition featured teams named after types of coffee because it was in Seattle) but it remains the light-hearted portion of the weekend where fans can tune in to see how good or bad their favorite celebrities are at softball. It is presumably quite satisfying for all the beer league players around the country to see millionaires whiff on a literal softball down the middle.

Anyone Who Thought For One Second That Chet Holmgren Couldn't Play Is a Bozo

Chet Holmgren made his Summer League debut for the Oklahoma City Thunder last night and the early returns suggest that Sam Presti's hoarding of draft picks could work out in the end. Looking lean and mean, the Gonzaga product was the talk of an otherwise sleepy sports night by putting up 23 points, grabbing seven rebounds, rejecting six shots, and doling out four assists.

VIDEO: Chet Holmgren's NBA Summer League Debut Was Stunning

Chet Holmgren saw his first NBA action on Tuesday night in the Oklahoma City Thunder's Summer League game against the Utah Jazz. He wasted no time putting on a show in Salt Lake City going for 18 points on six-of-seven shooting. (4/5 from 3!) in the first half. Holmgren was in his bag bringing the ball up the court and hitting fadeaway jumpers that looked like they could have been shot by Kevin Durant or Dirk Nowitzki.

Kendrick Perkins: Kevin Durant Trade Request is a 'Scare Tactic' to Help Kyrie Irving

There has been no movement on the Kevin Durant trade front since everything went down late last week. There are numerous reasons why that is, but the most obvious is that there's no rush. Durant demanded his trade hours before free agency, and now that the initial rush is over all the NBA teams are settling in for a long summer of negotiation with the Brooklyn Nets. KD will likely end up somewhere else by next season if his stance doesn't change, but given his four-year contract the Nets aren't going to be hasty and neither are all the other teams, who probably believe they can wait out the Nets and get a better deal.
