Walmart reverses mask policy, change could affect Central Texas stores

(KWTX) Walmart Friday reversed its mask policy and will require all workers in areas with high COVID-19 infection rates including those who are vaccinated to wear masks. Store managers will refer to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website every Monday to check for updates on infection rates, the company said.

Oregon dog reunites with Texas family after owner dies

Three weeks has felt like a lifetime for Susan Cox, who reunited with her son’s dog on Wednesday afternoon. Cox’s son, Trey, died on July 4 while taking a nap. Cox says he struggled with blood clots. Six Flags Over Texas Celebrates 60th Anniversary

Six Flags Over Texas turns 60 on Aug. 5, and they invite new and old fans of the beloved theme park to join the celebration. Local businessman Angus G. Wynne Jr. envisioned his Arlington theme park as an affordable family entertainment venue, where a single admission price included all the rides and performances in the park. When the park opened Aug. 5, 1961, adult tickets were only $2.75, and children were admitted for $2.25.
