SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga High School soccer players and coaches received much-deserved recognition on the 2022 All-County and All-State teams. Boys Varity Coach Billy Faircloth was named Talladega County Coach of the Year while Preston Bowen, Hudson Hodges, Aaron Roland, and Dexter Tai were all selected as part of the 2022 All-County Boys Soccer Team. Sylacauga’s Camden Faircloth was awarded the Golden Boot Award for forward of the year. Franklin Perez took home the midfielder of the year Box-to-Box Award.

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga softball’s Mason Porch received Talladega County’s top postseason honor as she was voted Talladega County Softball Player of the Year. Porch, a junior in 2022, had an incredible comeback season after missing an extended amount of time due to injury during her sophomore campaign. Sylacauga Softball Coach Chad Wilkinson told the Aggie Sports Network one of Porch’s goals this year was simply to play a full, healthy season. He knew if she did, her production would be off the charts.
