Tabor City man sentenced to nine years in prison for possession of drugs, firearms, stolen ATV

COLUMBUS COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) - Bradley Courtland Williams, 34, of Tabor City, has been sentenced to nine years in prison after being charged for multiple offenses. On January 25, 2019, Williams was arrested at his home on Peacock Road. After citizens complained to the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office vice narcotics unit, undercover deputies launched a five-month investigation and bought drugs from Williams at his home in Tabor City.

Police: 1 charged with drug trafficking in Horry County; various drugs, guns and $46K seized

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Horry County police have arrested a man after they say he trafficked various drugs with the intent of distribution. On Monday, police served a warrant at a home on Mishoe Road in Bucksport, according to police. There they arrested Christopher Williams, 31, after he was found with 58 grams of crack cocaine, 108 grams of methamphetamine, 3 grams of cocaine, a .38 caliber revolver, 12 gauge shotgun and $46,805, according to police.

Man found dead after disappearing from North Carolina campsite

A North Carolina man was found dead after he disappeared from a campsite overnight Monday, according to a sheriff’s office. A news release from the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were sent on Tuesday morning to a campsite at Lumber River Campground in Evergreen. The sheriff’s office said Brian Thomas Lynch, 36, of Shallotte, was camping at a site near some water, and was last seen by a fellow camper at around 1 a.m.
