Karen Civil has been trending since the weekend because of claims that Jessie Woo and Joyner Lucas made about the music industry executive. Civil has been around the music business for years, and she's best known for her work with artists including Nipsey Hussle, YG, Lil Wayne, and many more. During a Clubhouse conversation this weekend, Civil was accused of scamming artists out of thousands of dollars, promising to come through and help them with growing their careers but falling through and pocketing the money anyways. Jessie Woo made strong allegations against Civil, and Joyner Lucas says that she stole $60,000 from him.

Seven years since his debut, G-Eazy is set to drop the sequel, These Things Happen Too. Ahead of its release on Friday, he has revealed the tracklist for his fourth studio album. The 19-track set, which has been three years in the making, includes the single “Breakdown” with Demi Lovato, plus appearances from Lil Wayne, Ty Dolla $ign, and Marc E. Bassy. Singer Samuel Kim continued to make claims against Brave Brothers. Back in 2019, Samuel Kim, who appeared in Mnet's 'Produce 101, Season 2' as a contestant, filed a lawsuit against Brave Entertainment claiming he never received proper payment statements. In response, Brave Entertainment filed a 1 billion won (~$844,006 USD) lawsuit against Samuel Kim, claiming compensation for damages. The first civil trial for Samuel Kim and Brave Entertainment was recently held on August 25, where the two different sides faced each other. Samuel Kim's mother was also present at the trial.
