Our calendar is now dotted with sneaker-themed holidays: Air Max Day now arrives as surely as spring blooms, SNKRS Day is right around the corner, and today is our very first Yeezy Day. Six years into Kanye West’s collaboration with Adidas, the rapper has created a formidable empire of shoes. The foundational models made good on Kanye’s promise that everyone who wanted Yeezys could get them, and turned the 350 V2 into a top-selling shoe rather than one reliant on scarcity and hype. In the meantime, he’s built out the Yeezy brand with weirdo sneakers—see the 450 and the Foam Runner— and basic footwear models like the slides. In honor of the very first Yeezy Day, we’ve put together the definitive ranking of Kanye’s best Yeezys for Adidas.
Yeezy Day has officially arrived, bringing with it an onslaught of sneakers from Kanye West’s Adidas line. New releases and restocks have been rolling out on an hourly basis since 7 a.m. ET today, with 13 different pairs having already gone up for sale prior to noon. Although no official schedule has been released, we can likely expect new kicks to keep arriving well into the evening.
The first week of the Tokyo Olympics is now officially over — and as we embark on the next set of sports, the sneakers have largely grown quiet. After a quick burst of releases, brands the industry over have started to slow, offering only a small amount of standouts. As...
Last week, sources confirmed with Complex Sneakers that today will mark the latest installment of Adidas’ “Yeezy Day.” The event kicked off at 7 a.m. ET via Adidas.com/Yeezy, Yeezy Supply, and the Confirmed app and since then, releases have been rolling in at the top of every hour. The drops...
Considering the Yeezy Foam Runner’s popularity and lack of availability, it was only a matter of time before counterfeits hit the market. And while expected from sites like Taobao and the like, none ever would have thought we’d see fakes on Walmart of all places. Apparently, Kanye West was also...

Kanye West doesn’t do anything halfway. His infamous perfectionism can be a hindrance (see: the extensive list of ventures he’s shelved over the years) but it also lends itself towards a certain manic productivity. When he’s on he’s on, and there’s no slowing his momentum.
Yeezy Day 2021 LIVE – Supply of Kanye West’s Adidas Yeezy 700 v3 Dark Glow & Foam Runner Mx Cream Clay released
YEEZY day 2021 is finally upon us - and it has met expectations. A deluge of sneakers have been dropping well into the afternoon and evening. Adidas Yeezy day is a day of releases and restocks from Kanye West's Adidas Yeezy collection. The first Yeezy Day event took place in...
While we’re patiently waiting for Kanye West to finally release DONDA next month, the date for the upcoming “YEEZY Day” has been revealed on the YEEZY Supply website, and it is set for August 2. This year has seen plenty of releases from the rapper’s longstanding adidas collaboration, including the...
Kanye West and ‘ YEEZY BOOST 700 V2 is set to release in a familiar “Mauve” colorway. Originally debuting on a YEEZY BOOST 700 back in October 2018, “Mauve” is an earthy color scheme that’s in line with adidas YEEZY‘s slate of muted releases from the late 2010s, and here it’s even more low-key than it was on its 2018 debut.
Kanye West and ‘ YEEZY line is celebrating its legacy and looking towards its future with “YEEZY Day 2021.” A global celebration of all things YEEZY footwear with restocks, new releases and more, YEEZY Day 2021 was teased by a countdown clock on YEEZY Supply, but now information around the proceedings has been revealed.
While Kanye West tucks himself away in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium to put the finishing touches on his highly anticipated album DONDA, he’s still staying connected to the news headlines by unveiling more of what he’s got up his sleeve on the footwear front. The remaining months of 2021 are jam packed with a bevy of new YEEZY drops, one being this.
As Kanye West isolates himself in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium to finish “DONDA,” the multi-hyphenate hasn’t forgotten about his adidas YEEZY imprint. Handfuls of releases and restocks are still expected for the remainder of 2021, and another YEEZY 700 V3 has recently joined the anticipated roster. Dubbed the “Dark Glow” colorway, the pair is near-identical to the “Alvah” style that launched in April 2020. An all-black color palette takes over the BOOST-less model’s Primeknit base, rubber cage and EVA foam midsole. Yet, the profile “skeleton” glows a sky blue under the right lighting conditions, delivering a distinct proposition from the aforementioned YEEZYs.
To the newer generation, sneaker collaborations are the norm and at this point they’re probably jaded to the whole concept as so many brands unveil new joint projects on a weekly basis. But if there’s one thing to point out, it’s the fact that we probably wouldn’t have all of this if it weren’t for Kanye West. He didn’t necessarily pioneer sneaker collabs, but he’s certainly been one of the most influential icons in footwear history just under Michael Jordan. And just like he’s been doing since signing with the Three Stripes in 2015, he’s got a boatload of colorways in the chamber that are dropping this year, one being this stealthy.
As Kanye West continues to preview clothing from his partnership with Gap, he’s also unofficially teased new footwear. Case in point: An adidas YEEZY BOOST 380 dipped in black and brown. Akin to previous iterations of what was once believed to be the YEEZY BOOST 350 V3, the latest take...
It’s Yeezy Season folks. Kanye West has generated a great amount of noise this week given that he’s on the verge of dropping his new album DONDA, and he’s kick started his roll out with listening parties in Las Vegas and Atlanta, and even made a glorious return on IG where his outfit grid stirred up plenty of attention once again as Nike socks made another appearance. All music aside however, his footwear momentum is only starting to build up even more as on-foot images of his forthcoming.
It’s been rather quiet on the adidas Yeezy front as of late. With no known July 2021 releases on the ledger, Kanye’s footwear legion will have to wait until August for more confirmed releases, but the wait will be well worth it. According to footwear retailers, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 “Light” will officially release on August 28th in both adult and kids sizes. And as the first color-changing Yeezy 350 model, these are sure to garner some revitalized attention on the most-produced Yeezy sneaker to date.
