CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Dr. Andy Dunn spoke with Wyoming News Now on May 20, 2022 to discuss the baby formula shortage. Dr. Dunn hit on the do’s and don’ts when it comes to keeping your child healthy amid the shortage. He says to make sure you are using the formula properly and not diluting it. You also should not try to make your own at home. Dr. Dunn says to check out smaller grocery stores and doctor’s offices if you are having a hard time finding formula.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - A stroll through some sun and helping homeless veterans. That’s what many did Wednesday outside the Cheyenne VA Medical Center. This year’s annual VA 2K was held Wednesday, where veterans, nurses, and more gathered to get some exercise, for a good cause.

So when we deploy, this is what we do in a deployed environment. We will actually build a base from nothing. Using all these tents and various systems,” said Master Sgt. Bradly Kechter, Structures NCOIC,153D Civil Engineers Squadron, Wyoming Air National Guard. Training begins in the classroom, but these guardsmen and women were out at F.E Warren Air Force Base practicing for emergency situations on Friday. The first thing they need to do is build a base that would provide shelter.

RECAP: Wyoming 4A Regional Soccer from 5/14

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - 4A regionals has now concluded, with each of the final four teams knowing how they’ll be seeded for state. In 4A East, Sheridan managed to take home the top seed thanks to Dane Steel’s goal in the dying minutes of regulation time. The goal turned out to be the only one in the contest, lifting the Broncs to a 1-0 victory over Laramie.

Hospital Week Feature: Operational Logistics Coordinator

CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - “So in this office we have two sides. The one side, which is the ambulance dispatch we dispatch all the ambulances to the calls 911 calls we’ll do non-emergent transfers from different facilities in town. We’re also in charge of keeping track of when we go out of town and out of state for those transfers as well. The other side of our job is more between the doctors connecting doctors for transfers or consults and setting things up on that end,” said Wyoming Medical Center Operational Logistics Coordinator Lacey Slominski.
