Hwy. 63 Accident Near Calmer Claims Lives of Two Teenagers

RISON – Two teenagers died and a Houston man was injured in a two-car collision early Saturday morning along Hwy. 63 south of Calmer, Arkansas State Police reported. According to the State Police accident report, driver Kaylynn Jade Hartley, 18, of White Hall, and her passenger, Hunter Thompson, 18, of the Woodlawn area, were traveling northbound along Hwy. 63 at about 4:45 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, when the 2016 Honda Accord she was driving crossed the center line and collided into the driver’s side door of a 2020 Hyundai SUV driven by Joseph Gonzales, 50, of Houston, Texas.
