Young Justice: 10 Most Likable Characters, Ranked

Young Justice initially started with only five members but later grew to more than twenty members. It was initially an opportunity for partners to develop independence in their team. In the first three seasons of the show, when the Justice League or outsiders became too important many members graduated to the Justice League when they converted too vital to be concealed. When you look at the vast list that the team has over the years, it isn’t easy to decide which hero is the strongest. However, in “Young Justice League,” several characters stand a class apart.

The Flash Armageddon Event Is The Future Of The DC On CW Crossover

The Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover event on the CW brought DC characters, past and future, together in a huge way. Ironically, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was no follow-up crossover. However, actor and director David Ramsey reprised his role as John Diggle on (almost) all of the CW series, providing a level of continuity to the TV shared universe. While there again will be no crossover event this year, there is some DC on CW team-up action in our future. The “Armageddon” event on The Flash will bring some current and past stars of the Arrowverse (or CWVerse, if you’re willing) together for an adventure. It’s not technically a crossover, because all of the action takes place on The Flash. Yet, perhaps this approach is a template they can use for future DC on the CW crossover events.

Wonder Girl #3

Writer: Joelle Jones / Artists: Joelle Jones, Adriana Melo, and Jordie Bellaire / DC Comics. In Wonder Girl #3, Yara Flor decided to visit Brazil, her place of birth, so she could learn more about herself and where she came from. She’s lived a sheltered life for 21 years in the United States, but she’s always known there was something more to who she was.

‘Wonder Girl #3’ (review)

You know how it goes. You’re a 21-year-old woman of Brazilian extraction visiting the old country, meet a hot tour bus driver named João, you encounter some supernatural forces and then almost get killed by a pair of warrior women on an airplane. Then you find out you have super-strength,...

Review – Wonder Girl #3: The Hunt for Yara Flor

Wonder Girl #3 – Joelle Jones, Writer; Joelle Jones, Adriana Melo, Artists; Jordie Bellaire, Colorist. Ray: This is a chaotic book that raises a lot of questions, but it’s still coming together as a fairly compelling narrative. Yara Flor has been on a trip to the Amazon that started as a search for her origins and turned into a battle to survive. She’s hunted by multiple enemies, including an Eros who seems obsessed with hitting her with his arrows and influencing her mind, and a mysterious crocodile shaman who wants… well, we don’t know. The character just briefly appears to add some mystery and then disappears. As Yara is torn between Eros promising her answers and her old friend Joao asking her to come with him, it’s a pretty interesting story that shows her struggles as she steps into her own as a hero. Unfortunately, it’s a bit too jumbled and it’s not entirely clear where she fits in the larger Wonder Woman legacy, which has no shortage of characters following in Diana’s footsteps.

Agents of SHIELD dropped out of The Powerpuff Girls pilot

Agents of SHIELD alum, Chloe Bennet, has dropped out of The Powerpuff Girls before the pilot has been retooled. It seems the peculiar live-action TV adaptation of The Powerpuff Girls fleetingly titled Powerpuff have lost their Blossom in former Agents of SHIELD star, Chloe Bennet, as per Variety. Not long...

Wonder Girl #3 (REVIEW)

Above all else, Joelle Jones’ art shined through Wonder Girl’s first two issues. Wonder Girl #3 was no exception, either. Yara Flor has a fierceness to her, yet there’s also a goofy side to her. Jones puts juxtapose those to sides at a moment where they use the bola this issue, and it felt like we were getting all of Yara at once.
