That’s the most since 514 were recorded on January 29th. 40 new cases were confirmed through positive test results since Wednesday balanced against 18 recoveries for the 22 case gain in active cases, and 15,210 cases in all have been recorded during the pandemic in Sheboygan County. In the last day, 17% of tests were positive. That compares with a 7-day average of 11.98%, and there’s a 7-day case average of 180.34 cases per 100,000 persons. Sheboygan County is currently experiencing a “high” level of transmission. Given that fact, the Sheboygan County DPH and the federal Centers for Disease Control recommend that all individuals, regardless of vaccinations status, wear masks while indoors or when physical distancing cannot be maintained.
