Wichita turned 151 this week, here are some firsts in the city

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Wichita celebrated its’ 151st birthday on Wednesday, July 21. The Wichita and Sedgwick County Historical Museum plans to continue the celebration this weekend with its’ Sesquicentennial Finale. The free event kicks off with a proclamation from Mayor Brandon Whipple Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and is open from 1-5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.

The Air Force Association Nominating Committee met by video conference on May 1, 2021, and selected candidates to send forward for National Officer positions and National Director positions on the Board of Directors.
