Inmate of Western Virginia Regional Jail Dies

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Lisa Lemond, a 32-year-old inmate at the Western Virginia Regional Jail, died Friday morning at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Roanoke Fire-EMS transported Lemond to the hospital for treatment for an undetermined illness. According to a release from the jail, it’s believed Lemond died of natural causes and not anything related to Covid-19.
