Leon County deputies arrest two wanted on attempted homicide

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The Leon County Sheriff’s Office says they have arrested two people suspected of an attempted homicide in Highlands County, Florida. Deputies say LCSO’s Real Time Crime Center received information that suspects, 26-year-old Derwin Callahan and 22-year-old Naijah Sholtz, were traveling westbound on I-10 and were nearing Leon County on Thursday.

Two suspects in attempted murder arrested by LCSO in Tallahassee

After a high-speed chase, the Leon County Sheriff’s deputies captured two suspected murder suspects with a Highlands County arrest warrant. Naijah Sholtz, 22, and Derwin Callahan, 26, were arrested and taken to Leon County Detention Center, where they await their processing without bail, said Deputy Bernabe Hernandez, a spokesman for the Leon County Sheriff’s Office.
