Wells, Maine Bicyclist Struck by SUV

Police are looking for the driver of a dark colored smaller SUV who struck a 68-year-old bicyclist in Wells early Saturday evening sending him to a hospital. Allen Bigbee, 68, was found lying and alert along Old County Road near Spinnaker Ridge Drive just after 7 p.m., with bleeding lacerations to his head and elbow, according to Wells police. He was taken by ambulance to Maine Medical Center in Portland for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
