Volleyball: #5 Nebraska and #9 Minnesota Face off on an Emotional Senior Night in Devaney

#5 Nebraska (24-4, B1G 16-3) vs #9 Minnesota (19-8, B1G 14-5) When: Saturday, November 26, 2022, 8 pm. #5 Nebraska (24-4, B1G 16-3) #9 Minnesota (19-8, B1G 14-5) It is senior night in Devaney and Kenzie Knuckles is not on the court to play against Minnesota. This is going to be emotional. Coach Cook thought his team played in a frenzy last night against Wisconsin in an effort to make up for Knuckles not on the court. The effort was there but execution took a dive as hitters sent balls out of bounds and communication errors left balls falling between two players.

Marquette Loses A Five Set Thriller In The Big East Championship

It does not — or at the very least should not — truly matter that #14 ranked Marquette volleyball lost in five sets to #15 ranked Creighton in the Bluejays’ building in the Big East conference tournament championship match on Saturday evening. It is still a wildly successful season for the Golden Eagles at 27-3 on the year heading into Selection Sunday, particularly since they secured the program’s first ever back-to-back regular season title a week ago with a home win over these self-same Bluejays.

CATHARINES - Challenging the Windsor Lancers for the second time in two days, the Brock Badgers men's volleyball team earned a four set win handing the visitors their first loss of the season on Saturday night at the Bob Davis Gym. Set scores in the win were 22-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-23. After falling to the Lancers the night before, it looked as though the Badgers were in for a similar result after dropping a close first set. However, Brock found their defensive form producing a number of timely digs, while also benefiting from several Lancers service errors. The trio of Kylar Code, Sauli Lianga and Jacob Ferland all put together service runs through the next three sets buoying the Badgers to an exciting home court victory.
