The emerging creative set his foundation up perfectly as he garnered a large organic fan base as an influencer prior to transitioning into his passion for music. Former Chicago Anchor Allison Payne Dies at 57

Former WGN anchor Allison Payne has died. She was 57. According to her former station, Payne died at her home in Detroit on Sept. 1. Payne started her career at WNEM in Saginaw, Mich., in 1988. Two years later, she was hired by WGN at the age of 25. She worked as an anchor at the Chicago station for 21 years until “a series of unfortunate health events” forced her to leave in 2011 and move back to Detroit, her hometown. Payne was off the air for much of 2008 after suffering a series of mini-strokes and bouts of depression.

Former Chicago Anchorwoman Allison Payne Dies At 57

LongtimeChicago anchorwoman Allison Payne has passed away. Payne was 57-years-old. Payne attended University of Detroit and Bowling Green State University and then kicked off her career at ABC’s affiliate in Toledo, Ohio WNWO. She then went on to be a news anchor at NBC affiliate WNEM in Saginaw, Michigan. Payne then settled into working at Chicago’s WGN in 1990 and was stationed there for 21 years. She stayed there until 2011 after she was forced to leave due to health issues. Throughout her career she won nine Emmy awards.

October’s Very Own is celebrating Canadian excellence for fall/winter 2021. On Wednesday, the Drake-founded imprint unveiled a co-branded collection made in partnership with the University of Toronto. The capsule includes a varsity jacket, rugby polos, hooded sweatshirts, fleece pants, headwear, and a tote, all of which feature the OVO owl and the UofT maple leaf logo. All pieces were designed and manufactured in Canada.
