Will IRS get tax refunds, stimulus payments arrive by December? Will bank, Venmo, or CashApp transactions be targeted in 2022?

Is the IRS going to get all tax returns and refunds processed by the end of the year? Will they finally be given the chance to go after those who use payment platforms like CashApp or Venmo? Last month Democrats proposed that the IRS be able to scrutinize all bank transactions of $600 or more. According to the Biden administration, the goal was simple: Get the wealthy to pay their fair share.

Their engagement—on Nantucket, duh—was something out of a Martha Stewart fever dream, and their Boston apartment is perfectly decorated via Restoration Hardware. Their dog, naturally, is a yellow lab named Charlie. They seem like the ideal match. Two people seemingly built for one another—destined for a nondenominational wedding followed by a country club reception featuring a crab cake bar and a signature cocktail (made with gin, never vodka).
