The United Soccer League (USL) announced that the city of Lexington has been awarded a League One expansion franchise. The club is majority-owned by Tower Hill Sports and is slated to kick off its inaugural season in 2023.

USL League One Playoff Projections - Week 30

Three positions remain open for the taking going to the final weekend of the season. USL League One Team of the Week - Week 29

TAMPA, Fla. – USL League One announced on Monday the Team of the Week Presented by Cleer Audio for Week 29 of the 2021 regular season, with North Texas SC midfielder Bernard Kamungo named Player of the Week after scoring a pair of goals after coming on as a halftime substitute in a 4-1 win against the New England Revolution II that vaulted NTSC into the playoff positions with one game to go in the season.

This game will kick off at 7:00 p.m. CT at Breese Stevens Field. Forward, who is coming off a recent second-half comeback to draw with FC Tucson, will look to end its season on a high note.

MADISON, Wisc. -- The good news is Kevin Rodriguez scored his third goal in two games and Charlie Dennis converted a penalty kick in the first half Saturday night. The bad news is Forward Madison scored twice in the second half, including in extra time, to force a 2-2 tie.

FC Tucson draws on road, enters final week with playoff hopes still alive

FC Tucson allowed a goal in extra time Saturday and settled for a 2-2 tie at Forward Madison FC. The Men in Black (10-10-7) are tied for the sixth and final USL League One playoff spot with the New England Revolution II. Both teams have 37 points in 27 games, with one week left in the regular season.

Scoreless Draw Gives Red Wolves Vital Point

The Red Wolves didn’t score a goal on the Greenville Triumph SC, Saturday night on the road, but the scoreless draw earned them a point in USL League One standings. The Red Wolves moved to 11-5-11 on the season, good enough for second in the 12-team league standings. Voters In Albuquerque To Decide On Stadium Proposal

It’s big money for a minor league stadium. Voters in Albuquerque, New Mexico will head to the polls on November 2nd to say yes or no to spending $50 million for a soccer stadium for the United Soccer League’s New Mexico United franchise. The stadium could seat up to 12,000 people. The United Soccer League is really a minor league circuit but there is a different name given to its status. It is a Tier II league in the United States with Major League Soccer listed as being Tier I of soccer in the United States and Canada as far as leagues go. The USL has a bunch of groups including USL League One, USL League Two and there will be a USL women’s group starting in 2023.
