Water main break causing trouble in Newark

NEWARK, N.J. -- Crews are on the scene of a water main break causing trouble in Newark, New Jersey. The break was reported overnight near Littleton and South Orange avenues, blocks away from University Hospital.The gushing water compromised part of the roadway, along with a nearby tree. Crews are working to shut off the water before they can repair the break.

Police Chief Joseph Cecile refused to answer questions about the arrest at a news conference Monday. The police showed parts of videos from six officers’ body camera footage and discussed the arrest, but would not take questions.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2012 GMC truck, driven by 21-year-old Carsen S. Man charged in relation to Monday night mobile home shooting

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) A Columbia man was charged Tuesday in relation to a Monday night shooting that took place at Park Trailer Court off of Business Loop 70 West. Sean Colton, 21, is charged with unlawful use of a weapon, two counts of armed-criminal action and first-degree domestic assault. He is being held at the Boone County Jail on a $400,000 bond. NEW YORK, NY – A 32-year-old man shot twice in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn Sunday afternoon has died in the hospital, the NYPD reported today. According to police at around 12:45 pm on Sunday, Lamel Murphy was found in the area of 35 Coverts Street with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in critical condition with gunshot wounds to the chest and leg. Murphy, a Bronx resident, was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
