My son is off to uni – he’ll cope just fine, but how will I deal with it?

Last week, I took my eldest son to university. Like thousands of other anxious parents across the country, I worry about whether he’ll cope living on his own for the first time. I worry about whether he’ll drink too much (he assures me that his generation don’t drink as much as mine did). I worry about whether, with Covid still looming large, he’ll have a ‘normal’ university experience – I’ve heard horror stories from friends whose children went to university last year about them being stuck in their halls of residence with communal facilities closed and all teaching delivered online.

Looking at COVID through the SF prism of AIDS

By the end of October, COVID-19 will have killed more Americans than AIDS. It is a grim milestone that places the nation’s suffering in a tragic perspective. Anyone who lived in San Francisco in the 1980s or 1990s can recall AIDS’ unbearable toll. Virtually all of us lost friends and colleagues. By one estimate, more than half of The City’s gay population was infected. Gaunt, scarred and helpless young men became a defining and haunting image of the times.

Uniswap Price Analysis: UNI back at $20, what direction next?

Uniswap price analysis is bullish for today. UNI spiked to $18.3 overnight. Uniswap is likely to return above $21 today. Uniswap is in a bull market today, and the price analysis indicates that it’s going higher. The quick drop overnight resulted in a lower low set at $18.3, but considering that further downside was swiftly rejected, we anticipate UNI/USD to bounce back today and climb above the $21 support.
