EJ Barthel will join Rhule's staff as running backs coach

Nebraska will hire UConn running backs coach EJ Barthel as its next running backs coach, 247Sports has confirmed. Barthel, a former Rutgers and UMass player, spent two seasons with Rhule and the Carolina Panthers before moving on to UConn, where he joined the staff of Jim Mora Jr. During his time with Carolina, Barthel spent time assisting the running backs and offensive line, while also working in the personnel department.
