Oklahoma LB Deshaun White Announces Return in 2022

Oklahoma got a big boost on Friday when veteran linebacker Deshaun White announced he would return for the 2022 season and play in Brent Venables’ defensive scheme. White, a senior from North Richland Hills, Texas, recorded 61 tackles (third on the team), 5.0 TFLS, and a fumble recovery in 11 starts in 2021 and has appeared in 50 career games for the Sooners. In all, White has started 35 games for OU and will be one of the leaders of the new-look defense in Norman next season.
