The Kewanee School Board met on Monday evening at Kewanee High School. The meeting began with discussion and passage of the latest budget. The school has seen surprisingly consistent payments from the state and federal grants have been a help to the school district as well. Upgrades on the schools are going well with air conditioning now installed and ready for use at the High School, in the Brockman Gym. It’s homecoming week for Kewanee with the bonfire taking place on Wednesday night, a volleyball game on Thursday, and a titanic homecoming Football game against undefeated Princeton.
