The transfer portal frenzy has arrived. In fact, it started a while ago. The Wisconsin Badgers lost five players to the transfer portal in the middle of the season, and three others entered it after being dismissed or suspended from the program. Senior outside linebacker Izayah Green-May became the first to announce his intentions to transfer in the wake of the regular season. Presumably, he won't be the last.
The Iowa Hawkeyes have done the unthinkable. Or perhaps more accurately, the unthinkable has happened to the Iowa Hawkeyes. After starting the year 6-0 and climbing to #2 in the nation, Iowa dropped a pair of disappointing games to Purdue and Wisconsin to all but throw away any hopes of winning the Big Ten West. The offense seemed lost and the defense didn’t look like it could hold up to all the injuries.
MADISON — Transfer portal activity will be high in the coming weeks, and it started for the Wisconsin Badgers Monday. Fifth-year senior outside linebacker Izayah Green-May announced he’s entering the transfer portal. He’ll use his final season of eligibility as a graduate student elsewhere. Green-May had opportunities to earn expanded...
The #15 Houston Cougars will take on the NW State Demons at 8 p.m. ET Tuesday at Fertitta Center. Houston is out to keep their three-game home win streak alive. The Cougars can't say they have nothing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving week. They made easy work of the Oregon Ducks last Wednesday and carried off a 78-49 win. Houston's forward Fabian White Jr. filled up the stat sheet, picking up 15 points in addition to seven rebounds. White Jr.'s performance made up for a slower game against the Wisconsin Badgers last week.

Michigan only had one game this past week, as the Wolverines beat the Texans of Tarleton State Wednesday night in a 65-54 win that was probably too close for comfort for most Michigan fans.

MADISON — The Wisconsin Badgers started the season far from the Associated Press Top 25. It took them only a few weeks to change voters’ minds. They scored wins over Texas A&M, then-No. 12 Houston and St. Mary’s, one of the better teams in the West Coast Conference.

Tanner Morgan is locked and loaded to be the starting quarterback for the Minnesota Gophers next season. Morgan announced Sunday – one day after helping the Gophers beat the Wisconsin Badgers – that he'll return for a sixth season of eligibility in 2022, which is possible due to the NCAA determining that the 2020 season, which was shortened by the coronavirus pandemic, does not count against eligibility.

What bowl game will the Wisconsin football team wind up in? Here’s where the Badgers might end up and who their opponent could be. After a few rough weeks early on, the Wisconsin Badgers have bounced back and are very clearly capable of competing against a tough opponent in a bowl game. Wisconsin started off the year with three losses in its first four games. The Badgers responded by simply buckling down and winning seven games prior to their matchup against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Gophers had just taken a 23-13 lead with Matthew Trickett’s 36-yard field goal, his third make of the day.
